The unrelenting search for new designers of high quality and with a passion for knives pushed us in the direction of the unknown design team Torbé Knives. Maciej another titan of the Polish knife design brought us a beast of a fixed blade in the Doppler. The Doppler is the first in the RSK fixed range to see the utilization of the Eggplant or Nessmuk blade shape. Originally used in woodcraft knives the Nessmuk is considered a smaller version of a hatchet or small axe making it ideal for outdoor felling and batoning jobs. Strong and flowing lines lead down an aggressive point, with the cutting edge of the knife being almost flat. This combined with the size and thickness of the blade meant there had to be a large compensation in the handle. Two thick G10 scales encompass the tang that flows majestically down into the exposed lanyard hole, which can be used as a glass breaker. A deep and wide recess has been milled out of the front of the handle providing comfort and protection for those hand heavy cutting jobs.
