Prandi Camping Hatchet 13" PRA5105CH

The Prandi Vintage Line of Axes and Hatchets, high carbon steel inspired by traditional cutting and splitting tools from Scandinavia. The blades are accurately tempered with oil and later placed under further tempering treatment, hardening at a density between 47 and 55 HRC. The taping of the blade, made by hand with grained flap wheels, favors the movement of the blade through wood, reducing the amount of surface friction and increasing the efficacy of the cut. The sharpening, also completed by hand, guarantees a better performance of cutting of any type of wood, even more knotty woods. The Camping Hatchet (Axe) measures in at 13" overall with a 2.63" cutting edge and 5.25" carbon steel polished axe head. The handle is made from American Hickory wood and includes a leather lanyard.
